Jarrad McVeigh is a young midfielder who plays for the Sydney Swans (2003-04, 20 games, 6 goals) in the Australian Football League. He is the younger brother of Essendon player Mark McVeigh.

McVeigh was selected at number 5 in the 2002 National Draft, having played his junior football for the NSW/ACT Rams and Pennant Hills. He then spent 2003 playing with the Sydney reserves team, before making his debut in round one, 2004.

McVeigh held his spot in the team for most of the year, playing 20 of 24 matches, but spent long periods on the interchange bench, and did not receive a Rising Star nomination.
